The Electronic Music Conference in Australia is Asia-Pacific’s largest gathering of electronic dance music leaders and future leaders alike. Founded in 2012, over 400 delegates including artists, managers, and promoters met for two days filled with discussions, networking opportunities, parties, and more.
This year, the three day EMC 2013 will take place in December in Sydney, with ticket sales coming soon. The first list of speakers has been released and among them are the renown Tommy Trash, Stafford Brothers, Krewella, Beatport CEO Mathew Adell, Gary Richards of HARD Events, and more.
EMC 2013 also features a new theme, “Asia In Focus” which has been explained by EMC Founder Neil Ackland:“EDM is exploding across the Asia Pacific region. Our goal with EMC is to make Sydney and EMC the hub for the regions industry leaders and artists. We will be bringing industry leaders from across Asia Pacific to Sydney to encourage collaboration and ignite business opportunities for artists and the industry”.
.Also new this year is the location which will take place at Carriageworks, a converted railway yard on the edge of Sydney. With over 1000 seats in the main room in addition to the stadium seating, conference goers will enjoy a variety of activities December 2-4.
